The Challenge:
After the success of our previous selfie wall designs, the team at First Direct Arena in Leeds approached us for a new creative project: a large-scale digital illustration to welcome ticket holders as they arrived at the hospitality level. With the venue’s rich history of hosting world-class artists, they wanted the design to showcase some of the incredible talent that’s graced their stage.
The Solution:
As music lovers ourselves, this project was a dream come true! We set out to create a vibrant, pop art-inspired illustration that not only celebrated the artists but also captured the energy and excitement of the arena. This was a challenging piece to pull together—especially when the old Mac was really pushing its limits—but both we and the client were thrilled with the final result. The ‘Welcome Wall’ now stands as a striking homage to the artists who have made First Direct Arena their stage.
